Style, Sophistication and Fun at the Lisburn Road Day at the Races.

The inaugural Lisburn Road Day at the Races certainly hit the NI style and social calendar with a bang at Down Royal Racecourse on June 17th.

The attendance was a who’s who of style and sophistication, while fun and frolics was the order of the day. Guests at the Lisburn Road Suite were treated to a pre-racing drinks reception at Lily’s on the Lisburn Road before being escorted to Down Royal. On arrival, Lisburn Road Suite guests enjoyed a delectable Disaronno reception, while being entertained by the gentle strumming of classical guitar.

The Lisburn Road Suite was fittingly transformed from head to toe in boutique style glamour, draped thoughout in black and white, with exquisite pieces from Beaufort Interiors, the Antique Gallery, Bang & Olufsen and Simply Devine. 

Guests enjoyed a four course meal and entertainment by the jaw dropping Arco Electric and the soulful jazz soloist Rose Devine accompanied by pianist Kieran Burke. Further, each guest received a golden VIP envelope stuffed with exclusive and luxurious treats from Lisburn Road stores.

Sponsored by Hugo Thomas and Max Mara, the Lisburn Road Best Dressed Couple prize was deservingly scooped by the stunning Mr & Mrs. Neal and Zara McCone. 

Individual races were sponsored by some of the Lisburn Road’s best loved stores and venues, namely Max Mara, Fred J Malcolm’s Jewellers, Hugo Thomas, MediCare Pharmacy and Lily’s.

Stilt walkers and live performances kept the attendance of over 3500 race-goers entertained on the day, before the after party got into full swing back at Lily’s on the Lisburn Road.
 

The Lisburn Road Day at the Races also supported charity partners Mencap and TinyLife.
